Sikh tartans
There are two tartans designed by Lord Singh, a Scottish Sikh:

Lord Singh also commissioned a translation of Burns' poetry into Punjabi, and pressed for Prestwick Airport to be renamed Robert Burns International.
The Indian Army's Sikh Regiment, 3rd Battalion, is still known as "Rattray's Sikhs", named after the Scot who organized them, Captain Thomas Rattray, and their pipers wear the Rattray tartan in his honour.
Cheers,
Todd

Dang Todd, you beat me to it. I was going to bring up the fact that some Sikh's have a very strong Scottish background, and several generations have grown up in Scotland. The history of their working together with the Scottish Regiments is long and glorious!
Some fighters!

My grandfather frequently spoke of the Sikh's reputation for fierceness; he was stationed in India for part of WWII, and developed a great respect for the Scots, Gurkhas and Sikhs.
Here's another painting that shows the blending of Scottish and Sikh culture:

Our Scottish society had a "Sikh Night" several years ago where we invited a local Sikh gentleman to come and speak about the Scottish-Sikh connection. We also ordered Indian food from the local Indian restaurant. It was a great evening.

Gentlemen,
Denim Jackets go VERY WELL with tartan kilts for a casual look.
Give it a try.

This pic was taken at Culloden.

Viva Multi-cultural!
Jean Jackets also make a great alternative to a sporran.

Was gonna add this to the above post but I'm learning the "system" doesn't allow the addition of photos with the edit function.

Sure and we can't forget the Gurkhas. They were some good fighters too. They haven't faired so well in the modern world however. Pretty sad really.
