In my childhood some neighbors (classics scholars evidently) had a boy and a girl named Primus and Secunda respectively. Their next child was a girl whom they named Tertia. Then came a boy named Finis. Only when I studied Latin in High School did I finally get the joke.

When I have kids, I am totally using those for middle names.
