I would have to agree with you Greg, one of my favorite CD's is a recording of Charlie Parker from a little club, someone in the audience recored it without anyones knowledge and 50 yrs later it made it to a CD, the sound quality is terrible but the music is just stellar. Another fav of mine is the Charlie Parker Jam Session, just Charile and some heavy hitters jamming but it's excellent.
