Thanks for that background and link. Very touching. It hit me because my fathers letters home from service in the RAF in War II contain much the same sentiments when he spoke of the Scots....and English...
I didn't recall, or never heard, of the RAF, USMC, and Army connections to the tartan. I'll stand a bit taller when I wear it for what you've passed on.
