Ten gallons
That is impressive!
Way to go!
I'm only at 23 pints! Of course for several years I was listed as a malaria carrier and they didn't want any of my red stuff. Plus, I'm a universal donor - O+

Another splendid example of the power of the kilt.

I don't think you would want to wear a big girly hoop earring or something like that, so yes there is a difference. Most are fine for either gender though.

Great my wife doesn't have any of those so I guess I can keep stealing one of hers..
Ted I have seen some very nice celtic knot earrings at the Scottish games we were at in October.

I'll have to look into those. Sometimes I like the look of two different earrings, like a black pearl in one ear and a gold piratish hoop in the other. Two of the same might be best in this case. Thanks for telling me.

Having tattoos, I am no longer able to give blood. However, when I was in college, it was a great way to meet girls - I would volunteer to help, and would escort the young ladies, who were always needing someone strong to lean on, over to the snack table. Had many a date after such...gallantry...

Then she tells me her first name, which is Gaelic and I don't remember, and goes on and on about being around kilted men and pipers and highland games all her life...sadly, a much younger lady...not sure where she's from, the blood bank folks travel around the remote towns of Arizona harvesting blood.
Her ear rings and necklace were Celtic knot designs. A lucky find for a younger rabble.
But sure a nice change with affirmation and appreciation instead of the usual silly questions.

Glad to hear of it.
Man, I can't donate blood I hate needles. Blood is supposed to be inside of yourself, not in a warehouse!!

Good on you Ron! 10 gallons, wow!
And I have to say, the USAK Cladish tartan remains one of my favorites and looks like you enjoy it as well.

Well done, Ron. I used to donate all the time, but alas my time spent living in Scotland has actually banned me from donating, (mad coos disease and all that )
Best regards,
Jake
