My only wool handsewn is one I got used, and dirt cheap. Black Watch, 22 oz (Canadian Army, tag is dated June, 1957). As SergeantFirstClass said, these are heavy kilts! Even though it wasn't made for me, it fits incredibly well. I haven't worn any of my off the peg synthetics since I got this beast... But then again, the weather has been a factor. I wear it everywhere... I don't see the point in saving it for special occasions, since I got such a good deal on it.
