    I agree with this. However, one principle I have always heard is to match your hose to the dominant color on your upper body, in this case the charcoal jacket, to "frame" the kilt.

    While it sounds like the green hose would work, I'd personally go with the charcoal to match & balance (top & bottom) with your jacket. Sounds like you'll have a great looking outfit either way.
