Question. Picture this. My brother's wedding if coming up and the only stipulation is that men in the immediate family must wear black shirts with black ties...don't ask me why. I thought the matching tie/shirt thing was so last year :-) Anyway, I was going to wear my black Argyle jacket, 5 button waistcoat, black shirt, black tie and black kilt hose? I was thinking of wearing the Lamont weathered with matching flashes. Do you think I can pull it off, despite the fact that the rest of the outfit is black? I think it might look alright, I'm up for something a little different, not so traditional. I gather weathered tartans are not considered very "formal", but I don't care about that, just as long as the outfit looks good. Thoughts??????
Personally, I think that sounds like it would look great and certainly something I would wear in that situation. The HLW (half Lamont weathered) will look great against the black.
