Funny thing is guys.... I'm deathly allergic to fish. If I ingest any I go into anaphylactic shock ( my throat swells shut). I'm soo allergic to fish that if I eat anything cooked in the same pan that had fish, I get a severe reaction. I always carry and Epi-Pen with me. Sort of like bee sting reactions in some folks. But does that stop me from floating a BWO or double rigging a red Copper John to a Flashback Pheasant-tail??? HECK NO!!!

Sorry. Guess I thought you were a fish person.

I with Don here. I have been given all the gear to go fly fishing by my Dad but haven't tried it (though numerous X Markers have encouraged me to get out there). I promise to get a license, get a lesson from the fly fishing store loocated 1 mile from my house, and try to use this fancy gear in 2008. But one thing is for certain any fishie (legally sized of course) that the fates may allow me to catch is destined to be sauted in a little herb butter and eaten!
Cheers

Man, I agree with both of you. Nothing smells better than something, anything, cooked over an open fire. At least cooked outside, streamside better yet. Fresh caught trout with butter and garlic, some french bread, some pinot noir with a summer client sounds great and tastes great (I guess). I'll catch'em, clean'em, and cook'em, but I can't eat them. Someone told me they taste like chicken...LOL. Panache, get on out on the water and get your line wet. Flyfishing takes a short time to learn, but a lifetime to master. It's worth it.
