In a democracy it's your vote that counts; in feudalism, it's your Count that votes.

Thanks, I have found that site. I hope to check it out better soon. As soon as I start my job (assuming I pass the state licensing test on Saturday and come up with the $100 for the state license), I'm going to check out the Highland Dance Instructors throgh them. My two oldest have been dropping, non to suttle, hints that they would like to take lessons. I just have to have the money first...lol.

I guess your practically my neighbor than, huh...lol. I live about 10 to 15 minutes south of WOF. I have an uncle who lives in Blue Springs. He also owns a plumbing and lighting fixture business out there.

    Welcome.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

That's just scary. If you're talking about Keeley's Skating Rink just off of Rangeline, I own a house back there. My in-laws currently live there. I didn't think there were any fellow Scots in and around Joplin.

They live on Patterson. As I remember, the skating rink had some concrete animal statues out in front of it.

There was a small Burns Supper in Joplin at one time, but I haven't heard anything about in years.
