During the big steroids scandals during the 80's or 90's Marvel decided to get Cap "clean".

They ran a storyline where he gets dosed with cocaine, and it bonds to his supersoldier serum. The only way to get it out of his system was to do a whole blood transfusion. That had the effect of cleaning out the Serum, so he was a "clean" hero after that.

Well, I would normally go with the redhead, but this time I have to go with Selina Kyle in all of her incarnations (except maybe Batman Returns).

Were there any kilt wearing superheros in the comics? Or atleast scottish ones?

I think Banshee from the X-Men is Irish.

And the Highlander (Connor Macleod of the Clan Macloed) now has his own comic series. But I wouldn't really consider him a superhero...
