Hey! It's a Christmas Celebration! Second only to Midnight Mass of Resurrection at Easter!
Live dangerously, wear BOTH! You'll look awesome!

I agree with Stan...Mass at Christmas is solemn and celebratory...a time that permits "dressing to the nines" if one so desires!

Panache- I don't have a jacket. I look like an ape stuffed into formalwear when I wear a jacket. As to the hose... I don't really like any color other than green, which in my opinion looks incredible with the Black Stewart. Truth is, the only kilt I have that green socks don't look right with is my SWK Nightstalker. It only really looks right with white socks, unless I coordinate my socks to match my shirt.
Thanks for the advice, folks!! I think I'll go with the more formal approach, being Christmas and all. I thought personally that the two would be a little much, I just wasn't sure if it was done normally, or if I would look like an idiot combining two different styles. I think I'll just go with plaid and broach.

I'm not quite the kilt police. I've flouted their "laws" from time to time, myself.
But, I've got to say - NEVER wear the fly plaid without a jacket!
