    Saltwater etching, use the same method making circuit boards, never thought of trying it on anything else.

    Thank you for the link. This is a little outside of my ceramics field, but sometimes we use metals that need to be etched combined with the ceramic. And I see it can be used on some other metals other than steel... Neat!

    I've been trying to find a local source for the nifty iron on PCB acid resist paper. It would be cool for some detailed etching. I'm going to try a recommended paper later this week to see how it works. I've had limited success already and now am looking for the right paper.

    Radioshack (I know I hate them also) sells a pen that I use but most of my stuff I do is hobby and doesn't require super detailed as it doesn't show.
