Why was Ohura (?sp) never left in charge? She was the ranking officer.

I' getting in this late but...
The City On the Edge of Forever
Metemorphisis
Jouney to Babel (Prequeled on Enterprise)
Is There No Truth In Beauty?
The Trouble with Tribbles (revisited in anothe Star Trek series)
Space Seed
Two from STNG
I can't think of the episode name at the moment but it features Spocks Father Sareck who is slowly loosing his mental facalties and is aided by Jean-Luc.
"Inner Light" which has a haunting musical piece which I have heard since as an orchestral Suite that is great.
How about the movies? Your top ones.
Mine are:
The Wrath of Khan
First Contact
Insrurection (Love the humor)
The Voyage Home
An Undiscovered Country
(They're all good save perhaps the first but these are my favorites)

...and in the immortal words of Captain Kirk, "And a double-dumb-*** on you!"
It has become one of my favorite insults of all time.

It was done on DS9. I loved Worf's explanation about the different appearance of the Klingons.
It's something we don't talk about. (I'm paraphrasing, I don't remember the exact quote.)

They explained the "smoth head" Klingons in the Enterprise series. It was a result of human augmented DNA(remember Khan) combined with Klingon DNA and mutated because of Tykellian Flu(I think Tykellian, but it was a flu strain). The cure caused those Klingons infected to lose their cranial ridges. It was a widespread virus, so that explains how we saw "smoothies" in TOS.
They obviously "got better" because Koloth, Kor, and Kang had ridges on DS9 when they appeared.

No, "Mirror, Mirror" is the episode where a transporter accident makes the landing party trade places with their counter-parts from a savage alternate universe (afterwards referred to as the 'mirror universe,' a place visited in one episode of TOS, two of Enterprise, and five of DS9).
The episode with the Khoms and Yangs was "The Omega Glory," and the episodes with the grups was "Miri," after the name of the young lady in it.

Really? Because it was the '60s, and she was a black woman, and the writers never thought about the fact that she ranked Chekov and Sulu.
In-story? Because she was a staff officer, not a line officer, which is a significant difference in Naval service.

I always figured it was because she was so busy answering the phones.
