Bbbuutt I bought from Matt, Rocky, Robert, Pete, and Steve ... when did they stop wearing kilts?
    just kidding

At highland games, I've seen kilted salespeople, but I've never seen the owner of my local shop in a kilt.

The two shops I usually deal with, are usually unkilted. One is a one-man operation, and sometimes the owner is kilted. The other shop is usually trousered, unless they're at the highland games.

My experience of kilts in shops has been mixed but often at least one kilt is being worn by a salesperson than not.

But the number of non kilted male staff can be surprising and disappointing - after all the kilt looks much better when being worn than stuck on a mannequin in the window!
