Hey now, is there anything else in the Southeast but Atlanta and Athens?
(Ducking for cover!!)

To me it's kind of like postal codes. Where there is a large population, postal code zones are very small and may only cover a part of a city. Where there are very few people, zones are very large and could cover a whole state. In this case, we simply want to be as inclusive as possible to serve as a central group for a large number of people in the Atlanta area as well as the "lone-kiltie" out in central Mississippi, Southern Florida or coastal Carolina who may pass through or visit Atlanta on occasion. As Turpin said though, we just have to get organized!! How cool would it be to have a tent at the Stone Mountain Highland games one year or sponsor some kind of event. Bring in Barely Juice, ETH, Off-Kilter, Red Hot Chillie Pipers or Alabnach for a pub crawl event.

We'll talk more about it at the Burns Supper on the 25th--just two weeks now.
With luck, I can car pool with Scot. (He's younger, stronger, better looking, and holds his licquor well.)

Hey guys, good news on the Splash front. I received the word from my managers that my return date to the states will be the 6th of Feb (arriving Atlanta late in the day!). So it looks like I might be able to attend this if I can get over the jet lag by then!

Doesn't this mean you will be more awake than the rest of us, because we're starting at about 8 am, Hyderabad time? Mike's gonna close out the bar!
