SEKS Burns Supper in Conyers , GA
Plenty of time to plan, gentlemen. I know Christmas isn't even here yet, but you should get out the calendars and take note:
We'll again be commemorating the birthday of Rabbie in Conyers on 25 January with haggis and aw tha trimmins. I'll be making the haggis again with the help, advice, and direction of TheScot.
And I hope we can get some of the other ladies to join this year. Mrs. CavScout might not come if we don't assure her of some other lassies, so let's see if we can't get the girls involved a little more.
I'll hold off on announcing the exact venue until I can get some kind of head count because the number may dictate where we eat. We can either do the Celtic again (where we are very welcome and bar maid has a heavy hand) or another place close by owned by an Irish lass who is asking for the business.
Please talk to the ladies, line up baby sitters, and rearrange the schedules now so that we can have a proper evening. Attire will be as-you-wish, and I'll be assigning parts before event itself. Anyone interested in attending and/or having a part in the festivities--poems, toasts, etc.--please sing out now. It's closer than you think!

I'm in Jim. We'll both be attending, and I'm glad to participate in whatever way.

I'm in, and will be glad to do the address if so desired.

If I'm gonna help plan this and assist in making the haggis, you know I'll be there Jim. Count me in and let me know what you need.

You're on. We'll look to you for the Address to the Haggis!
This is taking very good shape already.

Hey guys, it is too bad this is occurring when it is. I will not be able to make it again this year, but I hope that we can get a kilt night together in Feb. after I return. I land back in Ga on the 30th of Jan!
Have fun and do not drink too much single blend!

That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

Well, give us a shout when you get back, Mike. (You're timing is very bad by just 5 days. We were counting on your return so you could recite "Tam O'Shanter" or something.)
We'll plan an impromtu gathering as soon as you get your click reset.
