With the current exchange rate they're pretty much on par with Stillwater Standard, pricewise.
The more the merrier. I say!

Okay, so if you want a closer look www.lidl.co.uk. On the right/middle of their home page click on weekly specials from Mon 21. If asked to use a postcode for your local store use G75.
The sporran, shirt and socks don't look too bad here. I must go for a look into store.

You would think they would have given them a press before the models donned them - even GB do that!

    A small request here....

Reach into your sporran and extract a coin. Hold it in your hand and examine it closely...... Do you see that there are two sides?

Hand made wool tanks are fantastic and very useful.

That does not mean that low cost man-made kilts are bad and of no use.... They are good, if for no other reason than it will get a few more people in a kilt. They serve well for changing the oil or bar hopping as well.

James- ai'm no sayin' these plastic kilts can no bae made useful... sure ya cuid use them fur fitba matches an the like...ya arr richt...

ai'm just sayin' a plastic kilt frae Pakistan sold in a grocery store is no the same thing as a wool kilt frae Scotland sold in a kilt shop...

just like a plastic Smith & Wesson .357 made in China an sold a' Toys R Us is no the same thing as a steel Smith & Wesson .357 made in USA an sold in a gun shop....

they may luek the same frae a distance... but folk wha use guns wuid no confuse the two...

(and no- please dinnae turn this intae a gun discussion- that wuz a metaphor)
