Ah, Mexpiper... This one's on the 25th, the Friday night, at the Scottish Rite in Hamilton. I have one on the 19th and another on the 26th as well.
btw... are you up to piping this one? I don't mind if you do. For some reason, my wife of no Scottish heritage, doesn't like me practising in the hoose and it's been a wee bit cold on the fingers to find a remote place outside.

I have a friend in Kingston who might be interested in attending one of them. Sorry, I'm unclear about the geography up there. Would any be near there?

Kingston is a lovely town, I spent a weekend there in a grueling Coast Guard competition. It is, however, about 4 hours East of Hamilton, 3 hours east of Toronto. We do have a member in the Kingston Area, Supreme Canuck.

I am about 40 min from Kingston.. there are a few Burns dinners here, but we use to have a really nice one that was held at our local legion. Sadly the gentleman who ran it passed away a few years ago. Since then our poor city has not had an "Official Burns Supper"*
A few restaurants are having them in the surrounding area. Let me know if anyone needs to find one between Kingston and Ottawa!

I'm sorry, but the llamas have politely declined, and are no longer returning Grant's calls...

Are there any last minute details that we should be aware of? Time? Which door to enter? program? any requested songs? The piper needs somewhere to acclimatize his pipes and warm up. Will there be a microphone and PA system available? I have my first Robbie Burns dinner tonight and another next Saturday.
