I'm a Gordon from my great grandmother on my father's side. She was an Adams. In fact, my middle name is Adams, honoring her family line.

Killmans were found around Aberdeenshire, so that puts me in Gordon territory and a group with whom I am proud to be associated.
Pity the poor earl having to watch over my ancestors.

Lots with ties to Aberdeenshire. That's where I always spend my vacations and where my family lives. Great area.

While I'm not a Gordon, my dog is. (The Gordon Setter breed was originated by Alexander, the fourth Duke of Gordon (1743-1827) to hunt grouse.)

Aren't the Moore's (etc) also claimed by the Campbell's?
The Muir and Moore are also claimed by the Campbells
I just figure that allows for a greater choice of Tartans

Was looking in the 'Collins Scottish Clan & Family Encyclopedia' and I found 'Morris sept of Buchanan', but couldn't find Maurice? Do you know which clan Maurice is allied with, or is Maurice another spelling for Morris?
