I'm a little surprised by these references to appearances by Finlay Currie between 1971 and 1995 - he died in 1968.

I know. I make joke. Finlay Currie appeared in several of the pics I mentioned above; so, I exaggerated to make that point. BTW, I liked his appearances.

I think he was one of those actors that you expect to see in anything remotely Scottish.

Bit he was also more versatile - his classic portrayal of Magwitch in David Lean's Great Expectations for example.
