Going with Scot's Gaelic then, my sentinel would be 'Mo Freiceadan' assuming, dear lady, that you are saying this to your husband on the blade.
I do like the idea of "I Am Your Sentinel", too.

my dear lady,your beloved and are members of sum of the same groups. A fine combat dagger would be the best thing to engrave it is a little longer than a scot dagger. ther for awee bit more hande.

I Am Your Sentinel in Gaelic wouldn't translate very well.
It seems to me you would be better with 'Your sentinel.'
