They pick people from the audience to participate with certain parts of the show. Since I stand out in a crowd, kilted or not, they picked me. They had us walk to the side to explain what to do. While I was standing there, my waitress came up to me from across the room and said with a wink, "You need to be careful of the strut." I said, "So, you noticed?", and she said, "Oh yes...I certainly did!"
They love a man in a kilt!
"Strut" in this case is structural support type of appliance. She did not want you tripping on such an item on stage and answering the question before anyone had a chance to ask it .

That's wicked you guys.
While reading everyone's posts it reminded me that for me, women do tend to look a little longer also. Even when they're with other guys.
My kilt has been a very good self confidence booster.

Self confidence boost? Definitely! Also, I have recently noticed that the younger generations of young ladies seem to be interested. I was recently waiting on the platform waiting for the GO train, (Local Government railway mass transit.) and these two twenty-something blonde lovelies approached me with the comments:
1) We just love your kilt!
2) Both of our grandmother's were Scottish.
I was of course, flattered, even though I was old enough to be their grandfather. We chatted on until the train arrived and parted as friends.
