Kilts in the Wind Pictures

Thankfully, no pictures (and you'll be glad, too)...but one night about two weeks ago, we had +50 MPH winds...very strong winds...and so I thought to myself, Experimentation time! So, I threw on my kilt and ran outside. It didn't do too much - even though my kilt is a lightweight one - until I turned to walk back in...that's when the wind caught the pleats just right and blew it striaght up. If anyone was around, they would have learned the answer to "the question."

And great photo, TB. Best laugh I've had all day.

That sir, is a beautiful picture. That should be on the kiltmaker's website if they have one.

There is sooooo much more to the beauty of kilts than hanging with perfectly aligned pleats. Kilts look so beautiful dancing in the wind!

It is one of Kinloch Anderson's 'Breacans', Ron - a lightweight casual kilt in their corporate tartan. The Kollection contains four of those Breacans - the other three being: The Tartan Army tartan, their own corporate Hunting tartan and the City of Edinburgh tartan.
