As a father of two Eagle Scouts and an ex-District commissioner and member of many Eagle Boards of Review I know just how much time and effort you have put into this. Best wishes for the final step.

Congratulations and welcome to the rank of Eagle. I received my award in May 1978. As is stated in the ceremony, you are a marked man, your life is changed for ever. Well done.

My church was donated about 80 new chairs by another church that was getting new ones fro themselves. I transported them from Northern California to here (Los Angeles county), reupholstered the cushions, and refinished the wood.

A word of advice to any potential Eagles out there: don't do a project requiring the use of staple guns. Ever.

Wishing you luck in your board of review, I'm sure you'll do fine. You don't get this far in scouting and not know your stuff. My son just completed his Eagle last year, and our whole family was very proud of him as I'm sure yours is of you.

Speaking as an Eagle myself (Eagle class of '82) I know you'll probably have the jitters going in but take a deep breath, I'm sure you'll "be prepared" for whatever they ask you.
