    I congratulate you on a fine convertion. I wish I had the talent to tackle doing one myself, but my tailor is also getting very good at doing the process too.

    I don't see that it is hanging funny. Looks fine to me.

    Thank you all.
    Personally, I love the look of a waistcoat with the kilt. Luckily, I found the
    jacket/vest set for $2.50, so I wasn't overly worried about making mistakes.
    Now if I could only find 7 yards of tartan at the thrift shop for that kind of
    price, I could finally take a shot at making a kilt.

    Thrift shops are great for jackets and such. I have 2 from ours that I converted. I keep an eye in the ladies section too Just in case a kilt slips in there by mistake.
