I hope you will reconsider. First I think you will find that wearing a kilt everyday is done by a minority, even on this forum. Second Jock and myself and others appreciate that their are others with similar views to ours.

There are many reasons why members of this forum wear kilts, some I don't completely agree with, as like you, I feel a kilt is traditional Scottish attire. I don't like most contemporaries (utilikilts etc.) and when I wear a kilt I feel I represent something more important than myself.

I certainly understand how you feel though, I have felt similarly about this forum myself but I stay for two reasons. First I think the traditional view of kilts is very important and more importantly, no matter what their views on kilts I have enjoyed meeting quite a few of the rabble and everyone can use more friends.

So once again please reconsider.
