I don't wear one every day, but do enjoy wearing them for Scottish events, rugby matches and other sporting events, pub crawling, or just because I want to some times.
As my buddy Dirk pointed out, he wears one pretty much all the time but that doesn't mean either of us has more or less right to be here than the other.
Now Phil, you can't leave. You've just given us the "Phil Approved" stamp on American's wearing kilts. How will we explain your absence when people are checking our credentials?

I wear the kilt because I want to and it makes me feel good.
