I ordered a Dress Gordon last night and requested and got a confirmation that it would be pleated to the stripe. This is the 5th kilt I have ordered from them. The last being a 8yd machine made in the Grey old Langsyne. It is a beautiful kilt, a bit heavy for Florida except in out traditionally cold winters. But I will brave it out. For $240.70 it is a great value. I want the skye too, but have to resist....oh so difficult!

The Grey Old Lang Syne was my second kilt and I still really like it.
You are right about the prices and the quality is good. I just ordered a Holyrood tartan from them.
One problem I've noticed on my Isle of Skye is the left apron pleat is curling. As has been pointed out by others, it seems to be because they pleat straight down instead of tapering the apron. I'm going to try fixing it according to some of the directions on other threads. I'll let folks know if it works out.
