Well, my avatar is of me and Mrs. Prester.
As far as the name goes, I am a priest/presbyter/pres'ter in the Orthodox Church in America.
And my name is John.
Not very exciting, but there you go!

My mother used to call me Moose when I was a lad, as I was (and still am) a bit of a klutz, a bull in a china shop. I was always the biggest kid on the block, so...an apt description.
The avatar is actually "borrowed" from the Manitoba Moose hockey team. I just like it.

First letter of my first name and first 4 letters of my last name.
No avatar yet, as I don't know how to make them and I'd really like to have a Burns tartan avatar!

My avatar is of course my company sign.
The screen name comes from when I was flying. I graduated from Test Pilot Instructor School and the giving of call sign names is a time honored tradition. You don't get to pick your own name it must be awarded to you. (hence some of the really embarrassing ones.) It seems that all the schools instructors and other students thought I was a good teacher and could explain difficult subjects like aerodynamics in a manner that reminded them of Don Herbert who played "Mister Wizard" on Television.
Warrant Officers are not called Sir, they are called Mr. So I became "Mr. Wizard".
When I came to to British Columbia up here in the great white north I needed a screen name so The Wizard of BC seemed a natural.
Please remember all of this, there will be a test later.

The Freelander comes from a Landrover I owned when I joined.
The Sporrano part requires a story.
I was new to forums and all things Internet many years ago.
When I first joined X I made a lot of good friends (It was a lot smaller then ) I spent time in the chat room with another Mod Colin and our mate Rufus(Where are you buddy?).
We chatted about all sorts . During a session we got around to talking about the Soppranos. I misspelled the name and it came out Sporrano.... Now Sten Rune and I had begun our sporran making and Rufus and Colin thought it would be fun to add Sporrano to their user names too.
For a while it was a big joke here (Like Grahams Green Tights ..Sorry Newbies this is X marks legend)...Hank even Printed up T-shirts (No I never got one Hank!!
Anyway a few still have the sporrano name and Hamish has a great Sporranos t-shirt picture somewhere
My Avatar is a sporran Sten Rune and I made a while back...

Mine is fairly self-explanatory; the "scot" is obviously for my Scottish heritage, while the "cajun" is for the fact that I am a Cajun "by the ring and the back door", in reference to my wife's French Acadian/Cajun heritage.
My current avatar is the Iowa state tartan, in honour of the land where my Scottish ancestors settled after immigration. My Newsome box-pleat is made from this tartan (in ancient colours).

Mine is a Scottified version of Cleftref which is a play on the Welsh spelling of Clever Trevor where a single f is a v.

Sealark came from a co-worker of mine, I had purchased a boat and was throwing around some names, he came up with Sealark. He just used my last name of Clark and changed the spelling, the name kid of stuck and I decided to use it here since there were enough Clark's around. Besides the other alternative boat name would have been Small Craft Advisory, long story from my novice boating days, Sealark works for me. No avatar yet, but will have one soon.
