I've seen a few other threads lately with posts about wearing hiking boots with a kilt. There have even been some posts out there about sandals with kilts. There's a lot of talk about scrunchy hose, so I don't think I'm out of place with the thick knee high socks for gardening.
Also, in my gardening in a kilt thread, I have posted about prefering 3/4 inch hose in combination with gray water aplications. I have 1/2 inch oses mostly, but you use what you have.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…
