I have a prototype AlphaKilt with Box pleats, you might want check out the website I don't know when there are going public, I have gotten alot good looks and comments

I've been keeping an eye on those. I would like to read several more reviews. It sounds like a good kilt, though. On the other hand, I don't think they were making the rolled military box pleat kilts. I would like to have that extra thickness across the back side that style provides...

You'll probably be out in the desert with that, MM, I look forward to hearing how that does. I think My BZK canvas does great for the heat.

On the regular box pleat, I was thinking of something like what Matt makes except with canvas. Cloves pointed out that some X-Kilts are a box pleat and the pleats are sewn in.
I'm sure the pictures are of the regular kind, can't really look at them.
The first idea was to use a rolled military box pleat on a canvas or canvas-like kilt, and I wondered if that was being made by anyone.
