twirl on double box pleated kilt
Ok . Thank You for defining the word twirl. I wasn't sure.
Well, let me tell you folks that the twirl is awesome. If you just stand still, it looks pretty much like a simple box pleat. But as soon as you moove... wow, the magic happens.
I think this is the perfect type of pleating if you enjoy the nice flat, neat look of a box pleat but enjoy the swish, twirly moovement of a knife pleat.
Photos in a few days ! Chystel promised ...
Courage et patience !

Great photos!
I've never seen a double box pleat. Heck, until a year ago, I never saw a box like Matt makes. When I heard people talk about a box, I thought they were talking about a military box.
Can't wait for more photos!
-and please post pictures of your sporran project also.

Hello everyone.
Thank you for waiting. I didn't mean to be such a tease.
Finally I got back from tour... and a surprise was waiting for me.
The double box kilt is almost finished.
It's night here in France. So we are off to bed. Tomorrow morning , there shall be lots of photos. I will be proud to present Chrystel's patient and innovating work.
sweet dreams,

My dear wife Chrystel would be most happy to make kilts for you gents. We just have to go over the formalities with the authorities of this Website.

Boy, wouldn't that put the fox in the traditionalist's hen coop?
