Double box pleat kilt project !

A man of impeccable taste - a woman of surpassing talent - a kilt extraordinaire! It should be obvious that after punching three new holes in the belt, a new wardrobe was called for and only the finest would do. Bravo on a well-made and well-worn ( hmmm... ) double box pleat kilt.

That is a handsome kilt. At a quick glance it's a standard box pleat, but then you move and the extra boxes are revealed.

She is the one that cued me on the double box pleats; telling me how they would obviously meet with the demands of contemporary kilted gents in search of both civilian elegance and tradition.

Based on the initial responses here, she was quite right.
