Until recently I had some old running shoes that had started out white, but the good ol' Georgia red clay at Benning took care of those
Just remembered that somewhere I also have a small branch from a tree that has been growing in the courtyard of the Alamo (between the chapel & the long barracks) since before the battle. It had a seed I was going to plant from it, but unfortunately the seed got crushed in travel somehow
(I had an ancestor that fell in the battle there with Crockett & the boys.)
