He then asked me if I could show him next time how to baste the pleats himself and press it. He would love to learn how to do it himself.
When the kilt came in, I showed him how to remove the basting stitches and then he did the rest. He has recently taken to reading style blogs for men and loves to think more about clothing and things like that. When he saw the dressy and formal threads here and all the jackets and accessories he went nuts. He has even mentioned wanting to try his hand at making a few things at some point when we have the chance (like a sporran).
