    Gotta love the military kilts!

    Last night the temperature dropped 20 degrees (F) and it started to snow today. I thought I would have to break my tradition of wearing a kilt everyday for Tartan Week, but then I remembered my 9-yard, 22oz. MacAlpine pipe band kilt! It goes from ribs to knees and weighs as much as I do, but maaaaan, that thing is warm! Pleated to the stripe in MacAlpine tartan:

    this thing is gorgeous. I've never worn it without the rest of the full uniform, but it works well. I'll be sure to post a photo sometime today.

    Because. It is 80 degrees right now. About 20 degrees to hot.
