Gregg,
Great selection of the songs of The Troubles.
After Paul McCartney came out with "Give Ireland back to the Irish" it stayed on the top of Boston playlists for over four years. (After all we are the next parish West). Over seventy percent of Bostonians can claim RECENT Irish or Scot heritage. We have several radio outlets that still feature Celtic music. We also have thirty Celtic venues, and about a dozen active Celtic bands.
U2 - ( Ewe Two ) Sunday, Bloody Sunday is still popular on the jukeboxes in the local bars and pubs. The only controversy today is how often it gets played.
Do you have all this in your own collection of music. It is really deep. Great show.

Hey, I'm glad you like it. Yeah, all of this music is mine (all the music you'll hear on my show is from my personal collection). This week's show was difficult because I had to find music that represented the Troubles, but wasn't too inflammatory...or swore too much! They sure love the f-bomb.
What should next weeks show be about? I have all sorts of celtic music.
