Let's see...
I'm in the local TV News biz here in KC. that might get some boos ;-)
I've always been taken with Scots/Irish/Celtic culture, ever since I was 7 and attended the Highland Games in Savannah, GA. It was held inside the old Ft. Pulaski. Green grass, old stones, pipes a'playin', kilts... well, you know.![Very Happy](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)
And it wasn't until recently, once I paid attention to my other side of the family, that I realized in a 'holy-crap-wait-a-minute' moment that I too had scots-irish blood in me. Thanks to the internet I traced that side of the family backwards to the Revolution and beyond. And I discovered my family is a sept of Clan Gordon.
So I've just begun delving into all of this and as such am not kilted. Yet.

Hello and a warm from Boston, Massachusetts.
A Gordon, and not kilted yet.... This can be really easily solved. Log onto What Price Glory, click on "kilts" Gordon Highland knife pleated 22 oz. for only $ 195. Even waist sizes (kilt waist not trouser waist.) Good deal. Even better, check out the advertisers on this board. USA Kilts = made to measure of P/V in Semi-trad. by Rocky or Kelley. Nice workpersonship. Very comfortable and easy to maintain, with great customer service. Stillwater Kilts = Off the peg in Acrylic, all at 24" length. Jerry has very rapid delivery.( After you click "order complete, walk to the mailbox, its already there.) Sport Kilt = Very Lightweight off the peg, great for sports, working in the garden, or hiking around the mall or neighborhood. Freedom Kilts = Contemporary kilts with a flair for quality. Steve has great customer service.
