The best value of any kilt is being worn by its owner. If it fits. The Black Watch tartan is the most woven, most worn, most produced there is. That said, take good care of it. If it is a real hand sewn 100% wool, made in Scotland, by a known kilt maker, then it will have some provenance, that will garner a particular interest.
