James, the cap badges honour my maternal grandparents. My "nana" was a MacGregor and the reason I own a MacGregor tank, for her I wear the MacGregor clan badge. My "gramps" was a member of the Royal Welch Fusilliers in WW1, for him I wear the cap badge of that service branch. I am proud to point out that the badge is genuine, purchased from the RWF museum in Wales.
Grant, the trim around the sporran flap is a gold tone, not something I requested but that Turpin is such a fashionista. He made the choice to do that and as you can see he was right on the money!
