    A lot more info would be required before anyone could accurately place a value on an item (items) like this. The condition doesn't sound very good. Moth holes really hurt. Maybe Matt would want to display them in the museum?

    Photos

    I have photos but can't figure out how to send them. It is 27 inches long of heavy wool. The waist size is small, perhaps 30 inches or less. It has two leather straps. There are no labels or other identifying marks. A medalion appears on the sporran and the bonnet. The medalion has a crown at the top, a horn, the word "Assaye" and an elephant at the bottom.

    This sounds like the Highland Light Infantry badge (circa 1902-1952):
