I'm not wearing a kilt because...

I have a fever, and I can't get warm enough. The kilt worked for a while, but now I have on two pairs of thick socks, long underwear, insulated snowboarding trousers, three sweaters, and a fleece-lined wool hat. I'm still shivering. Last night when I went to bed I was shivering for fifteen minutes as soon as I got into bed, and as soon as I warmed up I was sweating. Blah.

I need to brave the outdoors and get some NyQuil. Luckily there's a 24-hour pharmacy just two blocks away.

    Andrew.

    Andrew,

I've had the flu and been there before. Nyquil is your friend.

    Hope you feel better soon.

    Cheers

    Andrew,
NyQuil is your friend. It got me through this wonderful flu that is all over Beantown. Get well as fast as it will let you.
We still need to find a place to set up a New England Kilt Society (Night) N.E.K.S. would make a nice name for the group ?? I was thinking of the pub in Government Center ( Orange, Blue and Green lines). I think it is on Congress Street across from the worlds ugliest building, A.K.A. Boston City Hall, in Three Center Plaza. I plan to scope it out this weekend. Any ideas on your part. I would be happy to check out. I would think that for a kiltie meeting, somewhere on the "T" would work best.
    GET WELL --- Steve

    Hope you get better soon.

Now that you have the "crud," I would say that everyone I know has had it now.

Course, if you'd had a breachan feile, you could have wrapped up in it.

Get well soon, and keep a box of flu meds in your emergency medicine kit for next year.

You mean The Kinsale? I was planning on going there tonight, but I might have to call that off, depending on how I feel.
