OK Guys. We have arrived at the Easter weekend and I really have been struggling to lose weight since opening this thread - but have I lost enough to be able to wear the beautiful Ardbeg tweed kilt which has been hanging, still with its basting stitches, since it was delivered in January?

I was determined, but not particularly hopeful, to return to my Autumn weight by Easter ............... and I HAVE done it! I can now buckle the straps, not on the last holes either, and I am SO pleased with myself. Yesterday morning (Good Friday) I tried the kilt on and knew it was safe to remove the basting threads at last.

The next item on the agenda was to get the photos taken, and here they are, fresh from the camera:

So, there we are - Kilt No.86 is now 'official' !!

My renewed thanks to Anne at 'Redshank Scotland' for this fine example of her true talent - and to Chris for introducing this rare tweed to me in the first place.

Take care,
Ham.
