    Thanks for sharing that! It makes me think now that I might make a sporran of my own out of that side of elk hide that I've had sitting around for the past 15 years or so.

    What are the dimensions on it, anyway? And let's see a picture of it on!

    Bon, pour répondre à quelques questions ou interrogations (mon anglais est très mauvais)

    fournitures pour fabriquer un sporran :

    - du cuir, 50 cm x 50 cm suivant bien sûr la taille du sporran (diviser par 2,54 pour obtenir des pouces),
    bien positionner les patrons pour économiser la matière
    - du carton : pour le patron et la découpe du cuir
    - de la colle néoprène
    - du fil de lin ciré

    outillage :

    - un cutter
    - un poinçon à cuir (tu peux prendre un vieux clou, limer la pointe en losange et surtout arrondir les angles pour ne pas déchirer le cuir, le monter sur un manche en bois, un coup de perceuse, un peu de colle et c'est fait)
    - une roulette de couturière (dans tous les magasins d'articles de couture), pour marquer le cuir avant le perçage
    - une bonne aiguille à bout rond ou non
    - un emporte-pièce pour faire des trous plus gros et bien propres, comme des trous de ceinture

    temps de travail :

    environ 12 heures (les coutures sont faites à la main)
    toujours percer les pièces de cuir avant de les coller (voir photos précédentes)

    dimensions du sporran :
    hauteur 18 cm
    largeur 17 cm
    épaisseur 5 cm
