I agree with the above site and video. He covers all aspects of kilt measurement. I had never seen non-trad kilts before coming here. I had heard of Utilikilts and their ilk on a hiking page but I considered these to be some sort of cultural aberration to be avoided at all costs. Blasphemy! But it is a very slippery slope. I have made myself a cotton canvas work kilt, downloaded the plans for an X-Kilt, and I know it's only a matter of time before I send the email to FK (must resist!)(at least till oil prices come down or summer gets here)(or work tons of OT)
The depth of knowledge and wealth of info here is extraordinary.
