I went to the Dragoons/Coldstream show in San Diego last night-- fabulous! The performance was super in every respect. The dancers' kilts swirled in exact unison during the Sword Dance and especially the Fling. The musicians were beautiful. How many other locals went to the show-- Mr MacMillan?
I enjoyed the 18th century Coldstream band-- never saw or heard a Serpent in real life before! It was interesting to hear how a military band of that time sounded. The pipers' competition set was hair-raising (in a *good* way). Cool cool cool.

Yup - I was there! Up in the peanut gallery. They put on a pretty good show for such a small venue.

I saw them in Houston back in February. They put on a good show, but I was hoping for more challenging tunes.
