You can call Hamilton directly and get 3 pair of you choice of colors for $20. I got off-white, navy, and oatmeal. No need to go with what he puts on ebay.

Ted, if your craving grey hose you might also wish to look into the Piper Hose offered by Scottish Lion for $22:
http://www.scottishlion.com/piperkilthose.html
They have a dark grey (Charcoal) & a lighter grey (Stone). These are 70% wool 30% Nylon & very nice. I just received my Bottle Green pair on Friday last, and plan to order 2 or 3 more pair with my next pay check (in varied colors).

Nice job Brian, sharp looking hose!

Ok, I am extracting a copy of that address link, and adding it to my huge collection of X-Links. Hoo ha ha ha ha.
Thank you very much, BoldHighlander. Te he.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

I have a pair of the charcoal, and they are a very nice hose.

Sounds good! They would be for my Scottish paperboy outfit. You can see it in the gallery for now.
I would not feel right buying Lewis hose for my Nightstalker tartan kilt... If it were a wool kilt, I probably would. These hose look like they're right in the price range I would want, but could be used with say a black shadow tartan SWK, or Gray Granite Usak if and when I have those kilts...

The piper hose are very comfortable. They used to be only available in white and off-white, so I'm glad to see they have them in colors now. They also fit those of us with thunder-calves (they fit me comfortably, though I can't make a triple turnover).
Oh, yeah, I ordered three pair.

*looks at big pile of grey yarn* Grey hose are very nice, although I may be tired of the color soon.

Yeah, I did the same thing only navy, black, and red.
I tried dying a pair yellow once but they came out mottled after the first wash with distinct threads that didn't take the dye. I still wear them though because the regularity of the white threads and yellow threads make it appear that it was done purposefully that way.
