Does anyone else have a good source for sporran straps? USA kilts charges an extra $10 for postage to Canada, bring the total postage charges to more than the straps...

You could check out Canadian Casual Kilts, Peter carries the L&M line and he may be able to do something for you Freedom Kilts or RKilts all three are Canadian companies.

Getting a sporran strap is a good idea, but keep the chain for formal wear. I can't recommend those sporran hangers. I think they look awful.

I just grabbed a 1/2 inch black leather belt from the ladies section at my local Target. Any department store/"box store" should have a workable belt.

The ladies black belt should work well, thanks.
I guess the hangers might not look that good on a trad kilt. Maybe ok on a modern style kilt though.

I'm a Pom. I moved to Sydney (from London) over 3 decades ago when I was in my late teens. I moved from Sydney to Melbourne about 15 years ago. As I said before; I've had the operation, and I'm now an Ozzie!
Any more Ozzie kilt wearers here?
BTW, I really like the Cornish National Tartan (#1567). Have you used it in a kilt yet?
