I use a simple green swissgear messenger bag from Target that was $25. It's rectangular shape and the swiss army logo make it masculine looking.

I have a canvas messenger bag in olive and it works quite well.
But the link you posted, wow, that's a very nice bag. Perhaps I should order one

I never had that 'un-manly' feeling when using my 8 year old messenger bag from Dakine. It is an excellent bag, as it was made with ballistic nylon and it is water resistant. The bag is very versatile. I use it for bike riding, motorcycling, carrying lunch to work, and carrying my stuff when around town.

That 'un-manly' feeling may have something that you don't see lots of guys using a bag like that. Lot of guys use shoulder/messenger bags because not every one drives and they need something to haul their stuff. Shoulder/messenger bags offer easy access.

Just get one ans use it daily. you just may start a new trend in your neighbourhood.

I carry one just like this, except mine has a side view skull with a mohawk on it.
They called it the rocker skull, don't seem to have it anymore.

It isn't real big, but I just wanted something to carry my wallet, phone, keys and other odds and ends with me.
I carry it even when kilted, but I am past the point of being terribly concerned with what anyone else thinks of how I look or what I carry.
I am comfortable in the kilt, and have all my stuff in the bag.
Call it a skirt and purse if you like, I just smile and move on.
